Learn MoreThe teachers at YSGA actually care if you understand things or not. If you don’t understand something, they are not just going to leave you there. They take the time to go over the information several times until you get it. I love this about my YSGA teachers.

Young Scholars serves breakfast and lunch every day, free to all students! Young Scholars participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows all of our students to eat school meals for free regardless of their financial standing. CEP provides an approach to offering free meals to schools that meet specific financial requirements instead of collecting individual applications for free and reduced meals.
CEP Benefits
- All students receive a free breakfast and lunch, regardless of their financial standing
- Breakfast and lunch participation increases
- Meal counting and claiming is simplified, and the length of serving lines is reduced
- Student debt from full- and reduced-cost meals is eliminated
Young Scholars’ breakfast, lunch and snack menus are designed to meet strict guidelines from the United States Department of Agriculture.
